The mud room upon entry of the house is decorated with lots of flowers and spring items. I love the beautiful cross that says "Celebrate New Life" that hangs on the front door. It is a great reminder of this season of new life!
The fireplace mantle in the parlor is so pretty right now! I love the pretty pastel colors!
I made these fabric cones before we opened and I have decorated them for several holidays. This time they are filled with special Easter items!I am especially fond of this sweet white bunny couple and the chicks. They look vintage to me and fit the decor style perfectly in the room.
I made this fabric cone above and the cute Easter banner below. I had a lot of fun decorating the banner with lots of spring embellishments.
This small table sits on the landing in the stairway and is a different decor style than the rest of the first floor. I love the ivory, taupe, and silver color palate. I made the beautiful jumbo egg and the pillow hiding in the background that reads "No matter how long the winter spring always comes."
The dining room is a really beautiful place for a morning brunch or ladies tea party!
The buffet in the parlor is also covered with white and pink runners, bunnies, Easter eggs, and lots of spring flowers.
Several of our beautiful suites got decorated for spring and Easter too. One of my favorite places to decorate in the inn is the mantle in Suite Hope, our Marie Antoinette-inspired suite. It is my favorite suite because I love the decor and all of the pink!
I really love the fabric-covered egg on the pedestal and the set of velveteen rabbits. I filled the ceramic Easter basket with a lace-covered egg that I made, a glittery Easter egg, a small framed print of Marie Antoinette, and a fluffy baby chick.
Suite Dreams, our French garden-inspired suite, got a little pop of spring decor on a small shelf. I decorated a metal bucket by covering it with cute purple checked fabric and adding a vintage Easter image to the front. I added lace trim and a cute beaded handle. I filled the bucket with some cute Easter eggs I made from felt, fabric ribbon, and purple flowers and then added a cute paper mache' bunny.
Suite Blessings, our spa-inspired suite, has an antique dresser that is a great place for decorating. I used a vintage rabbit, burlap-covered eggs, a bird nest and eggs, and spring flowers to decorate this suite for spring.
If you are ever in the Enid, OK area you will have to come by and have a tour of our lovely inn, or better yet you could book a suite and enjoy our delicious homemade breakfast served in your suite on the weekends!
